My name is Kelley Teahen. I’m a communications pro who celebrated Canada’s 150th birthday by gathering 150 images and stories that, together, define Canada for me. They were posted daily from Feb. 1 to July 1, 2017. I’m honoured that Cision Canada chose my project as one of “Seven Canada 150 projects and influencers you should follow on Twitter.”

Since then, I’ve used this blog to share thoughts on food and culture, and have run a few series of posts on themes such as London Calling (a 2017 trip to England), Renovation Road (our 2023 house renovation) and, in 2026, Stratford Like a Local – local stories away from the well-known visitor favourites in Stratford, Ontario, where we now make our home. 

This is my happy place. Hope it may become a happy place for you, too.
